If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please call (07) 4152 0009 and one of our team will assist you as quickly as possible. Our staff can provide guidance over the phone and help determine the best course of action for your petβs situation. Please listen carefully and follow the prompts .
All after-hours will incur a surcharge or call-out fee. Our on-call team will advise you on the costs.
Knowing when a situation is an emergency can sometimes be difficult. If you are ever unsure, it is always safest to contact us for advice. Some common examples of pet emergencies include:
- Difficulty breathing or choking
- Collapse, unconsciousness, or seizures
- Severe bleeding or major trauma (such as being hit by a car)
- Suspected poisoning or ingestion of toxic substances
- Snake bites or severe insect stings
- Persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, especially with lethargy
- Difficulty urinating or inability to pass urine
- Heatstroke or extreme overheating
- Severe pain or sudden inability to walk
- Eye injuries or sudden swelling
Prompt treatment can make a significant difference in many emergency situations, so itβs important to seek veterinary care as soon as possible.
