Our Vets can provide care for your pets in the comfort of your home. Consultations, vaccinations and euthanasia can all be done at home. We also offer a pick up and drop off service for those pets that are requiring services that can only be done at the clinic e.g radiographs and surgical procedures.
VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations are essential to prevent against highly contagious diseases like kennel cough as well as some fatal diseases e.g Parvo.
DENTISTRY
We provide an extensive array of dental work including oral radiographs, scale and polish, extractions and oral surgery.All our dental work is done whilst the animal is under general anaesthesia. We do offer FREE dental exams for a quick assessment to see if dental work is required or not.
We are well equiped and trained to provide a wide range of surgical procedures including desexings, caesarians, orthopaedic surgeries, lumpectomies as well as a wide range of soft tissue surgeries.
REFERRALS
Every so often we get cases that require specialised treatment by a specialist Veterinarian.
PICK UP/DROP OFF SERVICE
We can pick up and drop off your pet if needed through the ‘Dr Rue Mobile Vet’ service.

We offer Ultrasonography, Radiology, Oral Radiography, Comprehensive Biochemistry and Haematology/Urinalysis
CAT BOARDING
We offer luxurious boarding for cats. We only have 4 Cat condos so be sure to book well in advance if you are needing this service.
MICROCHIPPING
Microchipping is the surest way to ensure that your pet is returned to you if it ever strays from your yard. Ensure you always update your address and phone number with the Animal Registry.
HEART WORM CONTROL
Heartworm disease can be fatal. Due to higher compliance, we highly recommend using the annual injection.
FLEA & TICK CONTROL
We stock a high range of flea and tick control products. We recommend that you ensure that your pets are always up-to-date.
GROOMING
We offer Grooming under sedation for all size dogs and cats. This service includes a full basic body clip, bath and nail trim. Please note that this is not a specialised service. So no poodle clips etc.
INTESTINAL WORM CONTROL
Your pet will require regular worming for all its life. Starting at 2 weeks of age, do it every 2 weeks until 3 months of age. Then monthly until 6 months of age. Then every 3 monthly for the rest of their life. Call us for advice on what product to use.
